The term Hobo originally referred to men Homeward Bound from the war. Many just kept traveling either unable to face their families after the horrors or war or had no where to go and just rode the rails indefinitely. God bless our vets!❤

50 of 74 years a hobo. Very impressed. In my travels I witness a couple of wilderness buddies build a very fancy bridge twice as long or so. They used handmade "piles" . Everything was lashed. Twigs covered with mud as a walking surface. Was about two foot in width and extremely study and practical. Took about three days. Spring flood waters likely washed it out the following year. Wish I would of took a few photos of them building it.
